This attar from the Wasif collection is a celestial blend of spicy, herbal and leathery notes. Attar is an essential oil derived from the steam distillation of plant material and the word originates from the Latin name for flowers which was adopted by Arabic scientists to describe flower-scented oils., Cool ones are made up of rose, jasmine, etc which are perceived to cool the body when applied. They are used during the summer. On the other hand, warm ones are made up of Amber, Kesar, etc which is believed to increase the body temperature be used in winters.
